Victoria

Victoria is the second smallest state in Australia. Despite its relatively small size, it has a lot to offer to visitors. It is the cultural heart of Australia with its many museums, art galleries, festivals and social events. Its capital Melbourne is the heart of that cultural hub. This is also a place where everyone who is interested in great shopping or fashion goes.

We were mainly interested in the natural beauty of the outdoors in Victoria. And there is no shortage of that. From the famous Great Ocean Road with its iconic 12 Apostles to Victoria’s high country. Unfortunately, we missed out on both those places due to various circumstances. We visited only a few places while we were in Victoria. We are keen to explore more in the future. Our best impressions were of the mighty Murray River. It impressed us with its paddle steam boats, vibrant little towns, majestic scenery and free camps.
